family family family!
I love my family. Both sides, and how happy I was with their visits – first time David’s parents met my mom and brother (who surprised us also coming to visit!)!!!
It was great to spend time with my brother too – playing disc golf, games, ping pong etc. I wished we could do this more often!!
My mom even helped us a little bit with the Square Foot Gardening… Check it out!
I also enjoyed the time with my mom here, as well as visiting Washington DC – it was an awesome 3 days vacation!!!!
Thanks everybody!

more travels!

Translations will come another time….

Pri’s birthday camping trip
One of the best things is to do what we feel like – and my biggest wish for my birthday this year was to visit my upgraded ocean (PUO) also known as Lake Michigan.
There was a big storm in the middle, but it was fine -David and I took a long nap in the car! We had already set up the tent, so we were set for the night. The National Park campground was surprisingly beautiful, with walk-in sites, and we were almost the only ones in the campground (sleeping on Monday eve.). Until Monday morning it was busy, of course! (Memorial Day)
We loved the hikes, the dunes and the beach – it was empty on my birthday. I did yoga, meditation and swam in the morning, alone – David dropped me off there. I could thank all my blessings, and think of my future in peace: by the water and sun rays.
Have I told you that I love life? I’m happily 36. And I’m glad you are part of my life.

Presentes lindos!
As fotos:

| Second Wedding Anniversary |
Saturday arrived! We started the day with an awesome breakfast and then went to our park. Our tradition is to go back to the Karst Farm Park on our anniversary, and repeat our ceremony – reading our vows, drinking the wine and water. (Follow the pictures for the park adventure)
We bought somethings for our house, and then went to Roots for dinner (yummy portobello linguine and polenta), then coming back home we talked with our families (or tried to) and David tuned the spinet with Pythagorean temperament. (it was very out of tune) We felt really happy with how beautifully it sounded afterward. It was pretty quick, btw.
David made popcorn (hummm), and we decided to watch Julie & Julia. But first we watched this video of Julia making omelets, since Priscilla hadn’t heard about Julia Child.
A very entertaining movie. Actually it was so striking that Pri bought Julia Child’s book “Mastering the Art of French Cooking”, which will arrive this Friday. She was SUCH A CHARACTER!!! “How about dinner in 30 seconds?”
This morning Pri decided to make French omelets à la Child. You can check the photos for this part as well.
So, delicious, fun and successful celebration!

“Thanksgiving Day is a harvest festival celebrated primarily in the United States and Canada. Traditionally, it is a time to give thanks to God for the harvest and express gratitude to others for our many blessings. While historically religious in origin, Thanksgiving is now primarily identified as a secular holiday.” Wikipedia
Earring Expedition = success!
Well, there we went today to try to find my earring by the tree… Click here for the first part of the story!
My brother went with us!!

David and Kiko, my dear big brother
Then, when we were very close to the base of the tree, David said – I see the branches that were in the picture! So this means that the earring should be near…. And he saw it!

The ex-lost earring and the "v" shape branch!
Well, that was a GREAT story. We are super happy!!

It is even more beautiful now!
